If a student must leave before the official ending date for the program, a parent or guardian must notify the program organizers, and fill out any necessary forms with the program. A signed Early Release form from the program organizer must be turned in upon checking out from the resident hall. Start preparing the presentation and never wait till the end of the hackathon to start. While making the presentation try to keep it as simple as possible. Judges are generally employed by sponsor companies so it’s always a nice touch if you use their APIs in your hack. Using them can also boost the chance of winning other awards and their own prize. These companies participate to promote their products and help students use them for free. Don’t implement a sponsor API if it compromises the overall quality of your project. Most people don’t have an idea before they get to the event.
